No we didn't attempt the route on Saturday. We were on the approach road/trail w beers on Saturday afternoon when you guys were skiing out. If that was you guys...??? We bivied in the parking lot, overslept until 8:30 am, did the approach on foot, and still got up and down the route in daylight. Great day out with good friends. My partners have photos of us on the summit but that's about it. I don't think there were any taken on the route.

We ran into people who had bailed off Chair on Saturday due to high winds and spindrift. Sunday was nice on N Face route. Funky ice and snow layers in some areas with great styrofoam neve in others.

FS: La Sportiva Nepal Evo GTX boots (US Men's 13)
giza replied to aarondray's topic in The Yard Sale
Are these Euro size 47.5? -
Scarpas are a good fit but unfortunately don't climb as well as Sportivas IMO

Doesn't Mtn Athlete provide you with support? Seems misdirected to be asking this question here. I have looked into their programming but, being the cheap bastard that I am, never wanted to fork over the cash.

[TR] British Columbia - Slesse North Face Couloir 5/19/2012

Nice work Al! -
La Nina may still deliver the goods to Lillooet but I wouldn't bank on it. I would think mid-March in Lillooet would be the tail end of an exceptional season.

Mocco, you are a delight!

For sale is a brand new Arc'teryx Kappa SV Hoody Jacket. Size is women's large, color is black and tags are still on. http://www.arcteryx.com/Product.aspx?EN/Womens/Jackets/Kappa-SV-Hoody-W This jacket retails for $475, I will part with it for $250 which includes standard shipping to anywhere in Canada or the Lower 48. I got a good deal for this jacket but it's unfortunately too big for my wife so I'm just trying to recover my costs. PM me if interested

There is enough ice in Hyalite right now to keep busy for at least a week. This is not the case in Lillooet. We wouldn't do that to you guys. Nothing to climb here in BC.

giza replied to Ed_Seedhouse's topic in British Columbia/Canada
Hey Ed, Ssshhhhhhh Rugged is not worth the trip nor is anything else in the area. In fact when it's not slab it's choss. The entire island is a pile of rubble. Don't bother visiting with the intention of climbing ANYTHING. -
