Bill...yeah he did. I picked him up from the ER on Monday night (his second time there that day). A few broken ribs, a really stiff neck and very befuddled (even for Larry standards normally). Poor guy...
Ah, Bill you missed it...I am pretty much soaked
Those stairs on Capitol Hill (Waterguy's suggestion) are killer. There's also the ones in the watertown at Volunteer Park (between 11th and 15th and Prospect on Capitol Hill).
Non-climbing question: Has anyone been down the Smith River in N.California? Planning a trip down that-a-way in a few weekends... Any info on the river/area?
Coconut bombs, monkeys, treehouses, cross-dressing swashbucklers... these movies are classics!
(Oh and the older brother in Swiss Family Robinson is pretty dreamy too...used to be in Hawaii Five-0...)
I just got back from Adams last night. There is still about a 3 mile walk into the trailhead, but with the snow melting fast and only 3 trees down, my bet is that the road should be cleared by next weekend...hopefully
Hi, did anyone climb Adams this last week and would be able to give an update on road conditions along 8040? The forest service webpage seems to have lapsed a bit, and the ranger station says that they have not received any current updates. Any info would be very appreciated... heading up there soon and would love a better idea of what I am in store for. Thanks!
Bill, I have yet to climb any of the routes up there, but I'm willing and foolish enough to get on anything! Larry might be showing up too. I can be there around 5:45...if I see you great otherwise I'll be on that wall that no one knows about...I think you have a unique name for it... Hope you had a wonderful rest of your Sunday!
