Hey whats up? Looking for some folks to climb during the middle of the week. Have alot of free time. Lead trad up to 5.7-5.8 sport to 5.10a. Have glacier experience as well. Looking for other LAID BACK climbing partners. NO ELITEST. Got car, modest rack, I'm in my mid 20s. drop me a pm I'd be intersted in climbing Garbaldi(east face), maybe go to Index(do some easy stuff), leavenworth, WA pass. Heck even X38.

I think the steepest sections are maybe 55 degrees? Some of the faces are quite steep, but u should be fine!

Yup I been going to the wall in Kent, its alright. Actually a guy climbed up and got stuck at the top. The kent fire dept. had to be called out to get him down. Anyone else here ever go to the kent wall? Mostly just a bunch of gumbys go.

Key Fact: The one thing those cunts in the suburbs complain about most is sitting in traffic. People in Seattle are so full of themselves their will never be a decent transportation option here! based on those pics Adams glacier looks fairly broken up right now. Wasn't clear from the TR whether they even went up Adams glacier. I'm assuming they did the north ridge

Im thinking possibly middle of july? I heard there is a bergschund at the top that can be impassable sometimes. The pics don't look to bad though. I am suprised more people have not done it recently. Gas must be getting expensive

I used to be that way. I especially hate(d) - I guess I still do - climbing in the gym or crowded crags because I felt distracted. I learned it benefited me greatly, as a person and a climber, to work on my concentration and focus by not avoiding those situations. Though I dont enjoy being around a lot of people when climbing, I have definately increased my tolerance and improved how it affects my climbing/concentration. I also didnt mean to imply reading was a worthless way to go while learning. For me, and those who may have a similar learning style, reading - then understanding/doing, just doesnt work well. I have to read/do/read/do/do/do/read/do/etc. Im a much better visual and hands on learner. Im also curious how your trip to smith went. whos trip me! j/k. Hows Minnnesotaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Can't say I miss going to grad school there =)
