  7. My friend gave me his leashes off his quarks to put on my aztars, but forgot to give me the pins that go in the shaft of the tools, then left the country so I can't get them from him. Does anyone have any they aren't using or know of a way to get them without buying a whole new set of leashes?

    starting my rack

my .02, to start, a rack of nuts and the equivalent of bd .5-3. That should get you through quite a bit of stuff. Some people won't agree, but I think in general, hexes are a waste of time. cams are light enough that weight-wise it doesn't make much of a difference in your pack and they're much more versatile and easier to place. I have a bunch of partners who have bought hexes and they've now sat in their basements for years. watch for online deals, people selling gear and sales in stores, don't pay full price for anything (unless you really really want it right now).
  13. I've ridden the blurr and it's M-O-N-E-Y. Weighs about as much as my hardtail and has no bob on the uphill. From what I can tell, it excells at x-country stuff, but can definately handle the bigger drops when it comes time. I don't have much to compare it to except for a few Rocky Mtn bikes I tried. It was a bit back, but I think I was on this one: http://www.bikes.com/bikes/2007/ETSX/etsx-70.aspx again, geared towards x-country, but rolls witht he big dogs too. The RM Slayer could be fun as well. check the site.
  14. because i have small hands, i really dug the upper pitches on Rebel Yell. my fists just bounced around in there, so it was thin OW tech the whole way.

    Cohiba

For fun new bars, The Copper Gate in Ballard just got remodeled and is now trendy-Scandinavian themed and has a bunch of aqua vitaes. Also, the Barking Dog has a pretty rad collection of Scotches. I still prefer Calvados for an after-dinner digestif.
  23. sorry kevie, i saw this in the recent posts and just assume everything you put on this site is spray. fixed it meself.
