  5. [video:youtube]BZ8FyShfnFc Yeah! Another Prophet of Disaster Who says the ship is lost, Another Prophet of Disaster Leaving you to count the cost. Taunting us with Visions, Afflicting us with fear, Predicting War for millions, In the hope that one appears. No point asking when it is, No point asking who's to go, No point asking what's the game, No point asking who's to blame. 'cos if you're gonna die, if you're gonna die, If you're gonna die, die with your boots on.

  9. What happened to that Minx character?
  10. Don't tell anyone (the internet is secure right?)but I have experience with the Bradley and the M1 Abrams. While the Bradley is fierce, the Abrams is absolutely lethal. Both are terribly expensive and if Ron Paul was President, unneeded. Sorry for more thread drift. Just trying to keep this site headed toward being a mini mini mini Facebook with participation. Well, if I could afford an M1 and need a weapon to protect me from my gov't, then why can't I own one? We should have militias that can buy M1's - for protection against our gov't, no? Prolly no law against it but expect government interference through the military contractor alliance. If you do pull it off expect men with good haircuts and black jackets to knock on your day sometime to wish you well. You do understand I am responding to boner's irrational justification of the "need" for automatic weapons, right?

  12. Ron Paul's new slogan: "A chicken in every pot, an M1 Abrams in every garage!"
  13. There is nothing to worry about - we don't have any oil.
  14. Go Ron Paul!
  15. While I'd prefer to do more, this seems like a reasonable start - in addition to required background checks/waiting periods/registrations for gun shows and a tighter leash on sellers at shows. I already stated I agree with these latter items.
  16. There are handguns and there are handguns. Folks have a right to defend themselves, and I think there's a way to accommodate that right w/o owning semi-automatic pistols with large volume magazine clips. Everybody retains handguns and rifles. The only difference is no more rapid fire weapons. Rapid fire weapons have no place in hunting, and you probably don't need them for self defense unless your favorite hobby is gang warfare. I couldn't agree more. But to debate guns you have to absolutely understand the differences between types of guns and especially the difference between semi-auto (one trigger pull per shell) and full-auto (one trigger pull and lots of shells). Unfortunately semi-auto can be converted to full auto in assault rifles which is why they should be banned. But banning handguns when assault rifles are doing the damage is over the top. Hunting as about one or two quick shots with a rifle and thugs and gangs and serial killers are about full auto. But in Montana we don't want the latter to prevent the former because of idealists. I am OK with semiautomatic pistols if there are no removal clips - manufacturers can sell guns you load into the handle and you get one set of 6 or 8 shots or whatever is standard there. Also, you can own only one such gun for self-defense - no stockpiling weapons for the apocalypse, and sorry "collectors", find something else to collect.
  17. Use a semi automatic weapon in a crime? Fast-track death penalty - trial and execution within 2 years.
  18. Gay For once I agree with Prole. Gay, gay, gay. NTTAWWT

  20. LOL. Good luck with that.
  21. That's part of why I recommend the old trail - it's at most 25% as crowded. It is also steeper with a bit more gain. Well worth finding.
  22. Four hours should be enough if you are a good hiker and driver. My best was 59 minutes on the main trail TH to touch the Haystack. But I know it has been done in under 40 minutes. Driving time is a separate issue and if you're smart you don't try for time going downhill. 3 hours car to car is pretty good time for most mere mortals (8 miles with 3300 foot gain)
  23. Stretch it to 5 hours door to door and do Si (old trail)
  24. agreed. course...to keep said laws on books will necessitate keeping libturds in office so the other side doesn't cut n' run later under the kinda sunset provisions that killed the original AW ban sunset provisions blow And Ivan, correct me but I think the gun sale loopholes have always existed (gun shows, etc). The same rules should apply to private sale as to sale anywhere.
