  1. I think that may be because we don't evaluate each other as meat, so we can see the other woman's beauty no matter what she looks like. I also have noticed that women who are more secure with themselves are comfortable recognizing another woman's beauty--she has gotten past that ridiculous notion that we are in competition with each other for the attentions of men. I've also noticed that guys who are comfortable with their guy-ness are not afraid to acknowledge another man's looks. It seems to be the homophobic dudes and the super competitive twits who have a problem talking about another guy's appearance.
  2. Sure, but if we're at Smith then the bathroom is just a portapotty.

And I'd like some bakelite bangles to go with that.
  4. I actually believe that my attraction for this woman is true love, who the hell is she and how do I get her to marry me? She's not single--and her boyfriend is pretty cool, so you may be waiting a while. Just to make it worse for you--she's not just hot, she's super fun to be around. Good luck to you

I have a fabulous pair of Authier skis that were lovingly built with a thin wood layer on top. Even though they are new, they do look like an old school pair of sticks. Folks who don't recognize the name will ask me where I got these old suckers. I just tell 'em I found them in my dad's garage and thought I'd see if they still worked.

FYI; cable bindings, such as Rivas, are flexible enough not to require a release mechanism. With proper adjustment, you'll blow out of the binding if it all goes wrong. Others, such as Voiles, have release options. I use the same ski crampons as AT folks. As for the rest; well, that's all personal preference, fitness, and skill. My bindings do release, thankfully. I was a little concerned about it, but I think I got over that fear when I started snowboarding (the fear of having equipment stuck to me while going ass over teakettle down the hill).

Funny. True and funny. At least it doesn't hurt so much during--mostly after. That puts tele one notch above crack climbing on the old comfortometer.
  18. What is the benefit of Dynafit? I looked at their site and it isn't very informative.
