  1. That is pretty hard core. You probably don't want to mess with a guy who uses big rocks for chalk. Anyway, it is nothing new. Surfing has had the same thing regarding locals beating up people who 'get on their wave'. pitty.gif I heard that Dru has a new secret bouldering area up north. yellaf.gif

  2. Can't wait to see 20 bazillion pics of the fat man's balls and stuff! Sounds like you guys could have easily made a new movie called BC Hardcore Chronic Pebble Pumping Senders! Congrats to Distel32 on sending the YELLOW CAVE. Bham is representing! Come down the Seattle, and it is beers all around. Sweet TR, keep em coming! wave.gif Seriously, this this the new Hueco? Come on dru, no secrets on this board! thumbs_up.gif

  3. The Nike one that I have is actually fairly big (same as Suunto about) but thats a good thing in the mountains.

    yeeeah boyee!

I be wearing my Thommen with much flava. The digits come correct, no front'in. Will it ever stop? Yo -- I don't know. Turn off the lights and I'll glow.

To the extreme, I rock a mic like a vandal

Light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle.

Pretty good for a white boy, eh?

  4. I know what you're thinking. How can I get myself some of this cool gear? It can't even be a sport unless there is a supporting line of merchandise. Well, lucky for you... there is. Who would have thought that a shoe rug would be necessary? The adaptivity and ingenuity of the human mind never ceases to amaze! wave.gif

  5. Nice pictures. We were headed up there (Coleman/Deming route) and turned around because of white out, only to have it lift for a while on our way out and make us question our decision. You're still alive and had a nice time with Pres Grant and VP Colfax, and they'll look forward to you visiting again. It looked like a very nice day. Thanks for the TR.... bigdrink.gif

  6. Did anybody answer the "Three Dicks" question? The answer is the Triad.

Here's another NOCA trivia question: We all know that the North Cascades has attracted writers over the years, especially Beat writers Jack Kerouac, Gary Snyder, and Phil Whalen. What relatively well-known writer preceded Gary Snyder by about twenty years ...was hired by Marblemount Ranger Tommy Thompson to patrol and maintain trails between Marblemount and Stehekin?

Rexroth. That 'Poets on Peaks' is an interesting contrast of the Beat personalities...

  7. Truly, one must ask, what is the critical speed of man? What is the maximum speed a body attains when hurdling down a cliff? This is the true definition of "natural speed". And my vote is that we become a province of Canada. After all, hasn't Canada got it right on every issue? Gay marriage? Persciption drugs? Legal THC? My vote is to open the Mount Constance and Mailbox Peak to MTB. Radical sick downhill is where it is at! In our National Parks? Imagine, the first descent via mountain bike of Mount Rainier! Mondo crevass ripping jumps! Bunny hopping off of seracs! Limiting it to slicks could make it even more interesting. I'd like to bomb down from Lake Constance with a pair of Fat Boys. It's reasonable. And people could govern themselves, just like the corporations do. yelrotflmao.gif

  8. Drinking Game:"The Beer Hunter". The premise is something like this: take a six-pack and shake one of the cans vigorously. Use a paint mixer if needed. Then each player holds a can up to his head and opens the poptop. The idea, of course, is that one of the cans will explode on the hapless participant, who is then forced to drink all unopened cans and pick shards of aluminum out of his skull. bigdrink.gif

  9. I only see a few trip reports, what do you all do this weekend? Unless you want to hear about the Woodland Park Zoo (the Gorillas really put on a great gross out session), I have nothing to report. I will for the next two weekends, though! Lets hear some TRs (in the Route Report section). fruit.gif
