    Superdelegates

It was this whole "superdelegate" thing that got me all bent out of shap about the so called 'Democarates'. I mean what is so democratic about a few so called superdelegates deciding on the nomination? that is NOT democracy. It resembles socialism as practiced by the Soviets or the Chineses. Free elections and everyone gets to vote, it is just your vote really doesn't count. Why do you even care how the "Democrates" select their candidate?

I didn't vote R in the primary--McCain had pulled so far ahead of Huckabee that it was pointless. Off topic, move along, FW.

    Superdelegates

I think it's a dumb idea that puts the voters father away from the nominating process. The fact that several of the WA Dem superdelegates have endorsed Clinton, despite that fact the Obama won in WA by a landslide in the caucuses, really chaps my hide. What do you think of the superdelegate component to the nominating process?
  4. Holy smokes, they voted to save it. Old Denny's declared a landmark
  5. At first I was against it, but the more I learn about it, the more I support the idea. It's my understanding that it's Googie bones are still there underneath the Dennyfication of the building. I think it should be saved. Perhaps a reasonable compromise would be to allow the developer to get a few stories past the height restriction or something similar. I don't think it's fair that they get stuck with the bill without somehow compensating them. I've always liked the roofline of that building and I'd love to see it returned to its former glory. The city's Landmark Commission is ruling on it this afternoon. Here are some fun examples of Googie, including our own Science Center and Space Noodle: Googie Central
  6. I hope that we can normalize relations between the US and Cuba soon. We're going to have new people as the respective leaders of our new countries soon, and it's time to move on.

  8. There's a wildlife refuge down in Nisqually Flats that's completely flat and has bird-watching, for a different experience. Way close to T-town too.

A quick grab from Wikipedia, pretty well stated: Careful what you ask for sirwoof!

No, the question about Fox was a legitimate one. Sirwoof's analyses pretty much say everything I need to know about him for now. KK, well, I think I'll pass on that train wreck today.

Nope, no one's marginalizing the Dems any more. We gave the Rs a shot at running the place and they compleeeetely blew it. So think again!

I'm assuming Obama is going to pick Richardson or maybe Edwards, and McCain will pick Romney or Huckabee. I'd prefer Edwards as the AG, so hopefully it will be Richardson for the Ds.

  20. They weren't ALL the way off, or else they'd have been free! Undies half off at your local Patagucci store. Selected styles only.
  21. I'd get in the pool, but that's my answer to everything these days. Pool good.
  22. Oh, that. That's actually YOU with your weird issues. Creepy! I'm fine--working my way back from surgery, work's good, not feeling too misty or nostaligic about college OR the Rebublicans--those fuggers are on their way out in just a few months anyway. If I'm a groupie, as you say, I'm a groupie for you and your incweddible insights! You and your brilliant mind got it goin' on, brah!
  23. Excuses? Yeah, having half your Achilles removed for surgery is real easy to bounce right back from. So is having a chisel inserted in your subtalar joint, and having your doc cut through a decade of scar tissue and scrape bone matter of the front of your talus. Really, it's a cinch--have it done and see how quick your slinging Cornelius kegs of soda pop off your truck. Or whatever you do with soda pop. Making kids into diabetics before their time. Race you up Tiger after!
