  1. And I haven't even hiked/climbed it yet! :-\
  2. :-\ I'll see if she's up to going to Canada.
  3. The penis is also similar to the retina. Edit: I see catbirdseat already explained it
  4. Sweet. I was looking at the 2-day prices. In reality, the prices are very comparable to the WA/OR ones. But since the dollar goes further, one has the tendency to splurge.
  5. Yeah, I checked out Reo's website. Sounds great. They have excellent packages and trips, but I'm not sure how far the person I'm going with wants to take it. (ie. 4.5 hr drive and ~$175US) We'll see. We're still discussing it. Edit: Kumsheen looks equally amazing! @_@
  6. No to the wine thing? Or no to Blue Sky being good?
  7. Called up Blue Sky and sounds like Wenatchee is all dried up. Skagit and White Salmon are still doable. Lunch and wet suit provided. Is Blue Sky good?
  8. Wet Planet, eh? Looks interesting. Not much information on their site though. Did you try the whitewater and wine combo?

    This thread... wow. @_@
  10. Yeah, I'm thinking of doing White Salmon. A coworker tells me good things about it.
  11. Well I looking for a full day trip, possible 2 day thing if they offer it. Taking a girl with me. She's never done it either. It's one of those spur of the moment things. I'd prefer something intermediate. I'm too new for Class V, but I'd like something more exciting than a mellow ride down the river.
  12. Not climbing related, but I expect better answers in here than Spray. I want to do some rafting this year, but don't know which company to go through and which river to do. I have never gone rafting before. Any help is appreciated.
  13. I too see only like 1/5 of a picture.
  14. I'll be going up tomorrow. (Hiking) Last time I was there, there was snow all the way to the parking lot. A lot of the trail around altavista and pebble creek were exposed.
  15. Agreed! Btw, your gallery doesn't seem to work in FireFox... (The ones with .cfc extension)
  16. Interested. I think I've met you before. I'm a medium speed myself--relative to all the other people I've climbed with.
  17. Seconded. It rocks my socks!
  18. I was on Rainier that day hiking to Muir. I saw the helicopter and knew what had happend. :-\ I figured it was LR again.
  19. That's what I'd assume. But again, I've never owned a camping stove before. So all this is foreign to me.
  20. A lot of talk about refilling, and I'm aware that it's most likely not possible. However, I thought maybe the canister was recyclable. I'm not on an environmental crusade or anything. I was just puzzled after I used up my very FIRST canister. I had absolutely NO IDEA what I was supposed to do with it. I wasn't sure if there was a procedure or anything. Seemed logical that the canisters would be recyclable--I didn't have reason to think otherwise. And for those who suggested white gas stoves, I'd be in the same situation as I am now if I bought a white gas stove. I'd be equally puzzled with what to do with an empty white gas canister. That's why I made this topic in the Newbie forum.
  21. I'm a newbie. (Hence the thread in this forum) I'd be asking the exact same question if I bought a Dragonfly.
