Buy aluminum, I know too many people who don't like plastic. I've got a BD Tele Lynx, which is very small and light. I'll go a bit bigger next time. I've also used a Voile shovel, which works just as well.
Hang on. Do they have cross country bindings or tele bindings? Are they short and fat or long and skinny? If the latter is true, much of the advice above no longer applies.
RIP IT UP! LOL!
Anything is better than that bald ugly dishevelled hunk of lift-covered dreck that passes for Hoodoo. That's the biggest eyesore between Rainier and Shasta. Hoodoo blows, at least Bachelor still looks like a mountain, though lifts will bastardize anything.
I don't skip classes, they cost too much to blow off.
Fail class? Are you insane?
Don't like prof, deal with it.
First class 8:30 for the past four quarters.
School: 9 months of work, then three months of lab job.
And the biggest: work: get weekends off. School: spend at least half of every weekend studying.
I thought GT was such a tough school.
I might have given them the wrong address, but they were the ones who shipped the boots to my billing address rather than my shipping address in the first place. The people there are very friendly, but utterly useless and I want my boots!
Now where's Marylou to tell me to quit whining?

I needed new boots. Mountain Tools carries the Freney XT. I ordered. They had to back order. I was cool with that. I called about two weeks after I ordered to ask for a UPS tracking number. They didn't have it. They told me they'd email it to me. I did this three times. Finally they got the tracking number to me, and informed me that they had sent the boots to my billing address rather than my shipping address. I told them it was OK, since I'd be down there soon anyway. UPS says they delivered. The boots never showed up. MT must have given them an incorrect incorrect address. Don't buy from these idiots; if anything can be fucked up it WILL get fucked up. Dumbasses!

Ahh, I feel a bit better now. Plus, tomorrow I can call them up AGAIN and bitch at someone in person.
Carl,
Thanks for the link. Unfortuantly, it doesn't list references.
As for you advice to sell my beacon, thanks, but I won't take it. I was wondering where the condescension I'm come to expect from you had gone.
Ah, yes, Scotty's 'light rail' . The panacea for everything! It will solve traffic jams, health problems, cancer, reduce unemployment and homelessness, and even cure AIDS!
Scott, you keep changing your arguments. First we don't have any adequate public transportation, then you tell me to name the cities that DON'T have adequate public transportation. What you are saying doesn't make any sense whatsoever. I'm not going to argue anymore, it's clear who the idiot is. Have fun with your infinite wisdom!
