Sub Kilo. It's my 'year round' bag, but I'm wearing all my clothes (minus goretex) in winter. Both Jeff and Sky have the Kilo Plus. Friggin' gapers.

I think that if it rains, NO bivy will keep you dry...but you should check with Amar.

Get the Kilo Plus. The waterproof covering will just trap moisture. The bivy will do the same job, better.

I'm wondering if this is the same piggie place near Munich, where you can eat the piggies, too! The funny thing about Germany is that all the 'wild' animals are fed by humans, live in fenced off areas, and are occasionally slaughtered and fed to tourists (me).

Just get a simple pack that's light and well built. If you want spiffy extras, just attach them yourself. There is no perfect pack, except mine.
