  5. If the Denver Airport was built by aliens, aliens have no concept of traffic flow, or alternatively, they run a taxi service. That sucker's out in the heartland.

  7. I HATE IT when I have to belay with those pesky mosques all around. Sorry I'm done now. Have a good time.

  10. doesn't really matter what encryption you're running when hidden admin accounts are installed on the unit, and the password is publicly known (as is the case with the Netgear wireless unit). Their first "fix" was to change the admin password. Unbelievable. Companies like that tend to not get my business. I have not had any issues with D-Link products. Apple's Airport products are also extremely well-made and have great software, but are a little more expensive. You get what you pay for.
  11. I should have let you know that the summit register is missing a pencil. Quite the full meal deal, eh? 9 hrs from Challenger Arm, my ass Beckey.
  12. ah thank you for once again reinforcing my coworkers' beliefs that I am a gay pervert.

  15. I wouldn't touch NetGear or Linksys wireless products with a 10 foot pole after seeing things like this: (Netgear security) http://www.securityfocus.com/archive/1/365069 and this: (Linksys security) http://www.internetnews.com/infra/article.php/3362321

perhaps you don't have a full appreciation for how cold those nuts are in that photo.
  19. heh sounds like the classic phrase heard when people are downclimbing the west side of asterix pass at smith. "I'll just drop my pack down there". Luckily there is a fence there now, but more than one pack has made the trip to the river.
  20. When watching the demo video I was expecting it to keep transforming into a robot and start walking around.

That's nothing to the sick variation we pioneered on the approach to Grotto Falls:
  22. The real question is where Bush's podium will be oriented for his next healthy forests speech. It will be a tough framing choice to get maximum billowing smoke in the background with haybales and rolled-up ranch shirt in foreground.

the weird ones are those who seek out choss at smith. I recently got to see some photos of a midwinter shiprock ascent, for instance.
  24. I just feed out some rope and say yeah that looks about right. But I usually don't have 4 on a rope I guess.
