  1. Dodge's book is cool. Has a few of the menagerie climbs in some detail. The mt hood section is a little tough to follow at times though.

    anyone who thinks more than 5 people is a reasonably-sized group for any climb on Mt. Washington (oregon). bonus points if any person in said group thinks rocks are harmless when kicked off cliff bands. even more points if leader of group believes this is a good place to teach someone how to rappel.

    hahahaha a dubious accomplishment... and every post on topic and a valuable contribution to the climbing community...I promise more spray about over-climbed hood routes and modem-crushing irrelevant internet pictures.
