  16. I strongly disagree. I have had a great time on Mt. Washington. The choss at times is part of the experience. The west face is a great route. So are parts of the west ridge and the east buttress. Yeah if you're looking for awesome granite you've come to the wrong place but if you're out for a good adventure I think it's a lot of fun.

  19. what's that, a thumb compass and Technu? no, this is just a course set up for a mtn rescue team to keep the mental gears oiled. orienteering comps would be cool though, I got a navigation tips lecture from one of the better orienteerers(?) in the country and he had some cool map techniques. I think geocaching is more fun though. Especially for climbers.
  20. It's not a class in orienteering, it is a course through which I, and other friends, will navigate at great speed.
