    Androids

Androids are expensive and have a nasty habit of taking over spaceships and stuff. Best to wax the mofos early on, you're better off.

    This winter sux

This winter has ROCKED so far and I am expecting it to CONTINUE. I look forward to a March like we had in Oregon last year. Rock climbing will come when it comes. Now it is time to enjoy the snow in the mountains.
  4. ski areas do suck, but the reality is, unless you are bc skiing every day, you won't be as solid a skier if you just do b.c. every weekend or so. You just cannot get the skiing "density" the lifts give you. I guess you could liken it to sport climbing.
  5. I'd recommend some skis, or maybe some skis. There's a possibility that skis might be helpful. The entire chute has slid out before and dumped into the bergschrund that forms up there later in the year. It does not routinely rip out though. Personal inspection and forecast analysis go w/o saying, of course. A lot will depend on how hot this Wx gets the snowpack up there. I'd expect to see some sun-related activity in the west crater rim area and wy'east for sure.
  6. oh and in related news, your Windows systems are due for a security upgrade yet again. ( AP article: Microsoft Security Flaw ). Note that Microsoft sat on this known issue for 6 months. Funny how people can access your hard drive through a web browser. Nice design Redmond!

  11. excellent article jon. I also highly recommend this article. I think it presents a good stance on the WMD debate.
  12. he does have a remarkable knack for posting a multi-page manifesto about this and that.
  13. and what is their obsession with creek beds? I always see a snowboard track going down a low-angle creek bed with all kinds of warning wands in it, only to see the track change over to a boot track wallowing out of the drainage ahhh I love this stuff.
  14. I blame snowboarding specifically for me having to be an unwilling voyeur of fat male asscrack as they try to fiddle with their bindings with the sagging camo pants.
  15. now this is getting good My favorite are the boarders who come into the lift lines way too fast to try to keep speed to get to the back of the line, and take out a few poles in the process. BAM! and down he goes
  16. don't support this Clark supporter. send your codes to me.
  17. nice catch there trask, but I thought you would be violating parole by traipsing through playgrounds again
  18. just erase and reinstall. If you have not had to do this in the last year, I doubt you're actually using windows.
  19. hey I was just kidding there. I was referring to the buried surface hoar from earlier (as freeclimb corrected me). I was releasing some decent wind slabs on ski cuts over in the mt hood meadows area just the other day. it will be interesting to see how the sun works this stuff.
  20. jeezus what time of year were you on that thing??
