'how to rock climb' & 'adavanced rock climbing' cover a bit of leading... got to love jon long... well at least I do I have not read 'freedom of the hills' but it might have something.... other than that, miles on the rock. Tex always tells me "place early and often" practice on the ground TONS. I hope you have more luck with the head game than I am having I suck
  3. next year I will plan to be at the rope up as well thanks to all... I had a fun weekend inspite of myself
  4. YES!!! THANKS TO IAIN as well it is not quite all the way dry yet... I think it needs a cupple of days. but yes it does look like columner basalt. I can see where the cracks are, well, cracking as it dries... it was way fun to do. I think we should than RY too and TIMM@Y for starting our fun
  5. Well thank you E-rock, you helped me entertain my kids, learn something new, and keep from pulling my hair out hoooraaaay for us even if we did have to stay home this weekend

  11. intersesting side note... I could here the mixture cracking as it finished drying.... it was loud. I can't wait untill it cools and is all done. I'm sending this with thing 1 to school to share on sharing day
  12. p.s. that goes for any kind of relationship... friends, climbing partners, what ever. there has to be some kind of exchange. but then, what do I know
  13. most adults don't need to be "taken care of" in the way that animals, children, and house plants do... but we all need energy comming into us. if you are in a relationship with some one and they put into you and put into you and don't get back something that they need (what ever kind of energy that is... it verries person to person) then the relationship ends. my sceince experimant is almost dry... any suggestions on how to get it out of the pan??? 14. Like I said... start there. You can not just depend on a woman to nurture, because she needs nurturing too. go to fred meyer on your way home from work, and rescue a plant
  15. sk's sugestions: -start with a house plant -if house plnat survives, get a hamster -if hamster survives then meet women that you might want to spend a WHOLE lot of time with and that you will try to love even when they are fat and angry for a LONG time. -while meeting women get a dog... if dog survives relationships -think about having children mommys are special people
  16. thing 1 and thing 2... that way only people that realy know us know what the kids names are... safety wise it is not smart for us to put their names or pics of them on the internet. you think of things like that when you are a mommy. mixed 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of cornstartch in verry small pan... I put it in the oven on a low temp to try and speed up the drying process.... hope it works [ 10-20-2002, 03:52 PM: Message edited by: Muffy The Wanker Sprayer ]
