Murray Rothbard. It's a good book.
-
"Senseless bolting" is redundant.
-
what he meant was: climbed 12 pitches to the top of the chief on tuesday. That's what I said. It's all there in black and white.

That's a good one, Bronco. Read it like 6 times throughout high school and college. Check out "The Walking Drum" and "Reilly's Luck" by L'Amour, as well. Classics.
-
"Atlas Shrugged", by Ayn Rand for the second time. "Inside the Third Reich", by Albert Speer (Hitler's architect and Minister of Armaments and construction) A book on the fall of Berlin as told from the Russian perspective (can't remember the name). About to start "The Ninemile Wolves", forgot the author.

Just got turned on to Nevermore and Type O Negative recently. That is some kick ass metal, man. Saw Nevermore live last month - fucking awesome. T.O.N. is at Showbox in a couple weeks.

Both are for fags and the vertically challenged (that's 'short' for uneducated wanks like RumR). What's your question?

I think he took a contract on a sport-fag physician. Lives down south somewheres. Who knows.

Climbing at Index tomorrow, bro. And in response to the e-mails you have been sending me, NO I won't be your girlfriend. Shag off.

I disagree, actually; by it's very nature, any decision made (or not made) would be independent if one was the last person on earth. Even the decision to not make a decision right away is an independent decision if you are all alone in the world. It's so obvious, how could you have missed it?

Went to Squamish. I sucked. Got my ass kicked by the Sugarloaf and Burgers and Fries. And then by Squamish teenagers. Wow, that obvious, huh? I guess the written word is a powerful tool. We actually had to bivy halfway up Burgers and Fries; it was epic.

Yeah, now how do we know what not to say? This site is probably run by some (insert racial epithet of choice here) motherfucker...just like Hollywood. (That was totally in jest, in case some of you nimrods can't catch sarcasm)

Sorry, how's this: "Climbed, fun." "Fun" sounds like chestbeating to me. I thought about going with just "climbed a bit", but didn't want to give the impression that I was some sort of alpine badass. You really think "fun" sounded like chestbeating? Hm...alright. Although, if I just said "climbed" that sounds sort of elitist, don't you think?

Sorry, how's this: "Climbed, fun."

Climbed a bit on Monday. Climbed a bit on Tuesday. Had fun. Wahoo!

Hold on, Erik, other's intolerance of Sisu's personal view is just that...INTOLERANCE. Let him believe what he wants to believe. Why should it be okay for pseudo-intellectual, quasi-enlightened wannabe hippies like you to tell Sisu, or anyone, what to think? Let him live as he wishes and believe what he will and accept the consequences. And, for what it's worth, I'm fairly certain you have a limited view of life in 1930's Germany. You yourself are a hypocrite, Erik, please.
-
Why the fuck do you care? It's his view and he has a right to it. Don't read the joke if it offends you. Sisu, please e-mail the joke to me, I missed it, thanks.

You're not going to make a Casey Kasem long distance dedication now are you?

Just so you know - Monday is a statutory holiday on this side of the border, so don't expect to hear much until Tuesday, probably. As you've seen first-hand, we take our holidays pretty seriously up here Oh, great!!! I'm heading up there today. Give me the skinny on what to say to fit in: "Happy statutory holiday, eh." (said whilst hoisting a fine Canadian lager, hiding my Guinness). If anyone reports the disappearance or death of a skinhead and a small dark-haired woman, that's me and TLG; mourn for us, would ya? hehehe HEY MURRAY, can we store some stuff at Valhalla Pure Mon/Tues.? Might check in this afternoon if you're going to be around. Greg_W

I bought mine through Shoreline Mtn Products via catalog.

I agree with AK; this is not the annual "Rope Up" that was had in the past. This is a completely different event, albeit a worthwhile one. Lunch? I would assume people will be out climbing. Pancake breakfast? Dave Parker sponsored that this last year. WTF? I think I'm siding with AK in forming the "Unorganized Free-Spirit Anti-Rope Up"; also known by its acronym, "UFSARU". We will be taking donations of beer and a grill. What else do climbers need? THank you for your support. Greg_W
