  1. I am just left of center on the horizontal axis and dead center on the vertical axis.

    Ooops

  4. I think that when battling, say democrats, the policies levied would be much better. Obviously they are not going to be able to impliment their policies 100% but the result of the comprimises between the libertarians and another party might well be the ticket.
  5. OOoohhh! 1 incumbent! Wow, your right! It was an overwhelming victory! Since we're talking about facts, I'll ignore the sarcasm. The FACTS are: American voters turned out in high numbers to support: Republican Senators. Republican Representatives. A Republican President. Daschle wasn't just "an incumbent". He was the minority leader. He was the Democratic figurehead in DC. "Was", being the operative word. First time since Goldwater in '52 as well. No biggie though.
  6. That was clipped from their Party platform Well I just posted the whole thing straight from their Party Platform.
  7. Huh? Are you that brainwashed? They changed the composition of their district so much that there's no way they'd stand a chance of getting reelected! The Democrats have done the same in past - which is why we need 3rd party, independant district allocation filibusters.
  8. They didn't! They turned out to support the same people who'd been in office all along! Look at the local, state and federal level - how many incumbents lost? How many races were even competitive? Where'd those seats the Republicans gained in the House come from? The Texas redistricting plan designed by Tom Delay! Yep. Citizens don't like filibusters.
  9. I also think you are taking the Native clause out of context. It doesn't mean that you will give their lands back but rather allow them to do what they will on their lands. Here is the unabridged section:
  10. One can say the same thing about the democratic party. It is baisically based on being progressive. At some point this system will collapse or become absurd.
  11. What did he disagree with? The ending of welfare? I know some of the stuff is a little out there. Ending foreign aid is kinda out there but considering we have little to show for the last $400 billion it for sure needs "restructuring" at least. I am just curious what are the general sticking points.
  12. I suppose elections are a bit easier in a country with a similar population to new york.
  13. What is so "out there" about the libertarian party except for drug legalization? The rest just seems like classic liberalism to me.
  14. Actually, the way I see it, the libertarian is the closest manifestation of true liberal politics. I am talking about classic liberalism here. Now I think that the nature of the 2 party system has more to do with the Libertarians' populaity than wacko ideology.
  15. Yep... it's the Christians' fault!
  16. Step away from the graffix motherfucker!
  17. I use Opera as well.
  18. You volunteered, you haven't done it yet, you can't play the martyr. Unless you want to be John Kerry Well I don't have much say in the matter now!
  19. I know. I was just saying how militant they are at my school. They put up posters of partial births in the caffeteria. I proceed to tear them down.
  20. tell CBS that. And yes... I do.
  21. You spineless fuck. ...and you say that Bush is a fear mongerer. Go ahead and send your sons to Canada CBS, I will go there in their place.
  22. come to my school.
  23. Word Will I totally agree. As I stated before, I have no qualms about exceptions but this procedure was being used on normal fetuses. I think it is sad that both sides are lobying so much that they are not willing to concede points like this.
