i knew you couldn't stay away...

sat- castle rock, swam, drank, hiked... soaked in the beauty of life. sun- hiked, talked, scrambled, climbed nothing, swam, drove home. gawd i love diving into cool crisp mountain rivers!

the fire was nine miles up the icicle on the southside of the creek approx 6000' elevation. quite a bit of country to reburn first before it reaches castle... unprobable but possible....... no "other" issues to worry about.

yeah maybe 5.8 g for grease. the fat cam is nice to get up to the tcus...

godzilla is a 5.9 and can easily be set up as toprope... hence beginner (slash for allison) intermediate route.

Castle rock. the best crack in my little humble opinion. 9+ gear to 5-6" but you need tcus too. hand jams, chimney moves, fist jams even a finger lock or two. love it in the morn before the sun hits it.... then a quick dip in the tumwater... what a day!!!!!!!!!!!!
