  1. Is anyone here familiar with the political repression facing North Koreans? I think it's safe to say the country's little understood by the average American.... I'd also say that if I was in Kim's shoes, I'd be arming pretty quick too, after the US' saber-rattling about the axis of evil. What's funny in a twisted way is that they kinda have the administration by the balls. South Korea supports dialogue, China supports dialogue, Japan supports dialogue, while the US is more concerned about appearance and saving face. How red will Bush's face get? As red as his neck?
  2. He's going into politics.
  3. MG, way to run with what I wrote! You get an A in assumptions, but a D at most in reading comprehension. Try again! Nice trip report, by the way. Had me laughing! Your TR's are inversely proportional in length to your political posts; keep 'em coming!

Have you guys ever played Asteroids? Man, that game was fun!
  10. Yes, the swollen mass of dilated veins, always high on most people's acknowledgement list. You sure are a wanker for a pseudo-Finnish guy.

  12. Hmmm....We're ALL cut from the same thread, more or less.
  13. Maybe he's one up on us there?
  14. You guys just don't understand Michael, that's all.
  15. Ahh my poor dear doctor. You have never had a proper Pinot Noir if you say that! Problem is you usually have to pay through the butt (pardon me!) for a proper one, but when you do get one, ahhhhhhhhhhh! The concentrated fruits, off-set by leathery tannins (not too harsh!)....so deep! I believe '94 was a year to remember with domestic pinot noirs, with an excellent example offered by a winery in your neck of the woods (Tualatin). Proper conditions seem more important for this grape than most others, elsewise it never develops the concentrations needed for depth. Happy drinking, my fellow winos!
  16. Last time I was on Boy Prophet (4 years ago), it was all bolt-protected. A bit run out on the slab (12 feet between a couple of bolts, with a 5.11 move 10 feet out?), with the rest being fine. Have fun!
  17. Hey cali can't grow a good cab grape, can they? Oregon grows a mean Pinot Noir though, as Washington is getting props on its Syrah. Oh, and T Monk rules.
  18. No; on the top of my car!
  19. Where's the winery? Is it non-alcoholic?
  20. Who's afraid of a little ?
  21. Hey, I don't know about you, but I think this posting business is hard work!
  22. For what ever reason (!), capitalism just isn't such a great word in many parts of the world. Might they be seeing the light?!?!? What many fail to understand about capital management and subsequent harvest is that without limiting the amount of the medium of exchange, capitalism fails. This limitation will always lead to the inequities we see globally. Capitalism will never lead to equitable cohabitation; why are so many so brainwashed? It's funny how people were trumpeting the fall of communism, exclaiming victory for capitalism. Hah! Short-sighted fools!
  23. Did you think of that yourself? Good one!
  24. Hmmm.... Attempts at negotiation first, Taft/Hartley next, and then....?
