Sounds like what the Mexico has been doing in the Southwestern United States for years! Increasing Hispanic population, teaching Spanish in schools, and now there are more ethnic Hispanics in So Cal than non-Hispanic whites.
Prole lives in the whites-only utopia known as Bellingham from where he preaches his special brand of harmonious intolerance. He makes his own skis from wood, rides his bike to Mount Baker, and his mother knits all of his clothes on a hand loom. I suspect he smells bad.
I'm not sure why you would think that. I meant what I said. We could have had an ally in The RF post cold war, but instead we've demonstrated arrogance and provocation at almost every turn. Imagine the tables were turned and Russia was offering "protection" to our allies and setting up 'defensive' missiles in Canada and Mexico. You think that would feed some internal nationalism as well?
Bush has acted in a provocative manner toward Russia from day one. We need to scrap our missile deal with Poland and let genocidal thugs like Georgia's Shakashvilli know that we aren't going to come to their rescue every time they pick a fight with a bear.
FW,
True about destitute docs but overweight RNs. The RNs go to college and have to attend so many hours of continuing eduacation and obtain recertification. More gov't regulation to insure the best healthcare. 5K whether you like it or not the gov't has its hand in the healthcare industry! For better or worse.
I don't have anything against government regulation and oversight. But if the government runs the entire system--like Matt wants--who will oversee the government? And you've gotta admit that an inordinate number of RN's are overweight.
No Matt. You slither around threads in chameleon-like fashion, claiming one thing when it suits and another when it does not-- desperately Goggling for knowledge you don't already possess and recommending books you have never read.
So spewing unfounded assertions with no apparent basis in fact and refusing to even provide any reference or source when questioned is real discussion?
Feel free to post any "real discussion" about how government healthcare in America today is inherently and systemically worse than private. Explain where you got the idea that all proposals for healthcare reform that would draw the support of Democrats or someone like myself would have all healthcare delivered in government run facilities and provided by government employees.

My daughter graduated from Western Washington University yesterday. Today she tore the meniscus in her right knee. Unfortunately, her health insurance coverage ended the day she completed her studies. We'll negotiate cash for services with her orthopedic doc and/or make payment arrangements.
Are you saying the VA gives the same quality health care as the private sector? Seems to me they've been historically sub-par.
The postal service? They are self-sustaining...and compete with Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL, etc.
