  4. carolyn, I think I saw you on mtneers doom right? Bout 2 weeks ago?
  5. Lowell, Is it true there are large steep walls up there
  6. I hear cougars eat horsecock and cheese. I will bait them at boulder basin just before leaving. Then when I return I will be safe from them while they are snared in my trap. Cougar Catcher = Cpt.Caveman
  7. I am major gumby. I lead 5.2 not a ropegoon
  8. Stefan, I think veggie hates you and does not want to climb in svitzerlund with you this summer. Now you must find new partner. Maybe Amber will want to climb with you haha
  9. quote: Originally posted by danielpatricksmith: I had a great time with MVS on our little adventure. I had been wondering for a long time what the knife edge ridge to Denny would be like. That curiosity is what drew me to climbing from the get go. Always wondering what it would be like from the top, or what I would feel while on the side of a wall, these were my early motivations. Spending a lovely day with a great companion like MVS is mostly the greater motivation these days, but it is nice to satisfy the curiosity from time to time. Thanks to MVS for a great day! Bringing it back round to some cool stuff. Good work Dan and Mike! Sounds like a fun outing. Sorry there is so much negativity surrounding this but what can I say? I don't think Mike or I meant anything other than fun. I know both you guys and you both know I have no ill feelings towards either of you. I would climb peaks with you any time. I just don't like this stuff said about my friend Mike. I feel compelled to say something considering the circumstances that Marek is just floundering second hand knowledge and info about a friedn, Mike obviously meant no harm. Climb on friends and may it be safely. As far as Mr.Canyouclimbthebighill he is on another planet or universe that I don't care to relate...
  10. My friends were there that day and showed me the photos of guy... Thanks
  11. I bet if you bring some sterile needles you can share a box with a junkie
  12. I personally prefer Chair Peak. If you like ole toothy you might like Mt Index!
  13. Dru is just trying to deter ya mike. There are reportedly large walls up there that do not have great crack systems Unclimbed? Bring nutsack or prepared to make sport climbs in the wilderness
  14. Mine are usually c:Lazy but sometimes I am guilty of that too Good luck.
  15. Joe, I thought you would like that spot. Make sure you get into Prusik Peak area too! no closures there. Beware of the Snafflehouds at Nada Lake! Serpentine was fun. I would recommend Stuart N Ridge over it though. Maybe we'll head out to do some more stuff. Rock Ninja Bruce is gone to Alaska to fly so no more punishment from him Heheh. But hey how can I get to do difficult routes once in a while if nobody like him exists Also recommend watching the thread marked with Cascade River Road. Then go in there and climb something to your liking. Awesome spot too!
  16. The only 3 somes I am interested in is me and 2 girls.
  17. Nice Juan, I am now glad even more so that I went to SquishyLand
  18. I am way cuter! see
  19. I got no beef with AlpineK. I know I can drink more than he can in one sitting though.
  20. Hi fellow gapers and rock ninjas. I am thinking about soloing Glacier Peak soon. Don't want to be Joe Simpson so will bring 3rd tool (not Larry) in case and no ropes. How does the Sitkum Glacier look? Anybody been up there recently and climb it? I have read recent reports on other routes and snow conditions already Mostly interested in how many holes\crevasses might be opened up on this route...
  21. Did you eat Gu for this super alpinesufferfest?
  22. I think some dudes climbed it a couple of season's ago. If you do a search here you might just find something. [ 06-10-2002, 08:31 AM: Message edited by: Cpt.Caveman ]
  23. I farted on a snafflehound. He died of toxic gas inhalation
  24. Bug, I have done Dragontail and descended it twice. One time this spring\winter. I never remembered any place for screws (unless tied off ones on Triple Couloirs or any scrambling on rocks (although perhaps in late season?). I think one could climb Dragontail via Aasgard pass with just ice axe and crampons through snow. If you feel like your dad could become uncomfortable take a rope. I have never seen crevasses via Aasgard Pass. I do agree that Colchuck is a good idea too. Probably better position.. Ingalls uhuh uhuh [ 06-10-2002, 08:11 AM: Message edited by: Cpt.Caveman ]
  25. I smashed a slug in Squamish Saturday.
