  1. I wish she would stop too! It's not like I am not already worried about it. I have been planning, shopping, comparing, testing and so on for several weeks now and I think I just possibly may have happened upon the "perfect" present. SO Allison enough already! We are all stressed enough!!!!!
  2. Ah they are just goofballs.

  4. quote: Originally posted by matt warfield: Both Little Si and Exit 38 have separate new guides coming soon and the developers are trying not to leak much info until all access issues are squared away and also don't want to diminish sales with too much pre-information. Sounds like the recording industry BS to me. Leak info then refuse to give it up. EG: that "leak" about Freeway Gunshow route now this. Will spilling any info affect how many buy the book - doubtful. The spinmiesters spin. If two guides isn't a crass way to get abuse climbers I don't know what is!
  5. Bringing it back to the top. Somebody must know something! I heard routes from 5.10 to 5.12c [ 09-09-2002, 12:30 PM: Message edited by: Peter Puget ]
  6. Heck If anyone gives you shit rub a grapefruit in their face as this is probably the best promotion they will get! Beside "they" have already been leaking stuff. Thanks for the info tho.
  7. Lucky rules!!! And there is a Valley East as I have been there been there! (I think) OK LUCKY please tell me two routes there on 12a the other to the right a bit slabby? Am I correct? PP
  8. Well Allison always gets my heart beating!!!!

  10. NOTE TO ERIK: Clean off those loose blocks so they won't bonk me if I try it!
  11. This is not a troll. You silly guys.
  12. In a month ask a Boeing Machinist how great his union is! Talk about leading the lambs to the slaughter. ANother example of unions scrwing their membership was lumbermill unions. They should have been actively advocating a reduced workforce wand retraining for their members but since that would reduce the number sin the union and require forward looking thinking they screwed their membership.
  13. Allison pleae stop picking on Greg!
  14. Read it somewhere recently If I can fish out the reference I will.
  15. Matt - Have you climbed on those cliffs uphill from Peanacle Point? How accurate do you think the ratings are?
  16. quote: Originally posted by chucK: [QB]Maybe not the best logical support for my belief that steady 50 hour/week 10$/hour work is not easy to come by. QB] Agreed. I think that most of those earning minum wage desire to work less than full time. Ansd I believe that is the case throughout US Canada and Western Europe. Fence sitter isn't $10/hr for one year at 50hrs/week closer to $26K? PP
  17. I have heard this crag is reached by continuing up the Mt Washington trail past the turnoff to Bob's/Steel Fingers areas for about 5 minutes until a side trail is reached that leads to the crag. Runoured to be the largest crag in the area. Has anyone been there and if you have spill the beans!
  18. Erik - Your weekend rocked compared to mine! I didn't even leave the city due to the rainy forecast but I did walk around Discovery Park. Loose rock! Glad I am not belaying. But your post did get me thinking…. …..perhaps the rise in sport climbing is due to all those guys and gals with new tatoos not wanting to scrape them up wrestling with a wide crack!
  19. DRU - Exactly what happens to a "rich" person's money when it is saved?

(NWOG.org) wanker wanker wanker Like I said: wank-teryx. I really liked the Sabre TR. "Make sure to bring radios." And the rating system. Its got a lot of bolts and it's easy to top-rope. I give it an "8", pee pee. wanker wanker wanker Let the people decide for themselves! Sabre TR Gotta be honest - I'd love to see Cavey's Lichtenberg route done up in that format if not quite the same style. Or actually any of a dozen TRs that have appeared on this site. I just might write up a report of Cavey's route if it doesn't rain Sunday. PP [ 09-06-2002, 11:40 AM: Message edited by: Peter Puget ]
  25. Erik - Marketing? How have they advertised this free day. Its not even a big thing on their home page. Seems more likely that a few people coming in on that day would have been told "no charge today" in rememberance of 9/11. In that context it seems like a nice thought. All this marketing hype stuff is just BS.
