Those are Rollers. I used them a bit, they work ok in the smaller sizes. 1 If the roller gets off the tracks, it can be a pain. 2 They work nicely in soft stone for aid. 3 I wouldn’t buy the larger sizes but the small ones sometimes work where nothing else will. Disclosure: I’ve fallen on Sliders, Quickies and Ballnuts but never a Roller.

Matt - What is being said is that Earle has abused his position. In another thread I asked a simple question earlier which you chose not to answer: "Has Earle acted properly?" I gave several examples of behavior that I thought was evidence that he wasn't acting properly. I ask - 1 -Would letting a film crew follow his investigation and giving them access to evidence and a grand jury be something you consider "proper"? 2 - Is talking about the investigation at a purely partisan fundraiser proper behavior for a DA? 3 - Is it unreasonable to question a DA's motivation & tactics? This is a big concern when he has a history of not actually bringing cases to court. This thread is about the Delay prosecution. Certainly these issues are a very real part of the case and the topic of this thread.

Hey Fairweather note that when I first brought up DA Earle's actions that Mattp, probabaly as a routine debating response, called them Bullshit! You forgot to mention his referencing the Delay investigation at a purely partisan fundraiser. Check the Houston Chron....

The former Material Girl now believes "the beast is the modern world that we live in!" "The material world. The physical world. The world of illusion, that we think is real. We live for it, we're enslaved by it. And it will ultimately be our undoing," Madonna explains in her new documentary film, I'M GOING TO TELL YOU A SECRET. In the movie, which will premiere at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City on Tuesday, Madonna warns how people "are going to go to hell, if they don't turn from their wicked behavior." The singer, who is also promoting the upcoming release of her new music CD, declares: "Most priests are gay." "I refer to an entity called 'The Beast'. I feel I am describing the world that we live in right now. To me 'The Beast' is the modern world that we live in."

Using a state whistle-blower law, Mr. Diamond since 2002 has filed about 95 suits in Cook County court here against retailers that failed to charge him taxes on Internet sales, alleging that they broke the law. In cases where the state of Illinois joins the suits and prevails, he is entitled to up to 25% of the financial damages, with the rest going to state coffers. Mr. Diamond's first eight suits were filed against such retailers as Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Office Depot Inc. and KB Toys Inc. He has netted about a half-million dollars already, from some retailers. Because of settlement agreements between the retailers and the attorney general's office, the state's judges have agreed to keep the names of most of the retailers and the settlement amounts confidential. More than 80 suits are pending in Illinois, and Mr. Diamond has made forays into other states as well. "This is a no-brainer," says Mr. Diamond, a veteran class-action attorney who has a scenic view of Lake Michigan from his downtown office. "I started going on the Internet and discovered to my astonishment that companies like Target Corp. and Wal-Mart were not collecting taxes on their Internet sales. I was like, "Wow!" link

Actually Jim in an article without supporting documentation reviewing a writers history is not avoiding any issue. But here are some comments re the first quote. The Iranian nuclear program predates the Iraq invasion. I see no reason to believe that Iran’s ultimate goal has changed. I would hasten to add that while their strategic goal hasn’t changed, it is quite possible that on a tactical level they might have allowed the program to be more visible in an effort to drive wedge between the US and Europe. In this regard Zbiggy is yet again reading the situation incorrectly and becoming an unwitting tool of the Iranians. Perhaps consistency is not a virtue. The existing array of artillery currently aimed at So. Korea could very quickly kill millions. Zbiggy seems to not consider this reason enough to tread softly.

Alright who is the other person who got "horny" reading this thread........

Zbiigy presided over: the Iranian-hostage debacle, the disastrous rescue mission, the tragicomic odyssey of the terminally ill shah, the first and last Western Olympic boycott, oil hikes even higher in real dollars than the present spikes, Communist infiltration into Central America, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, the Cambodian holocaust, a gloomy acceptance that perpetual parity with the Soviet Union was the hope of the day, the realism that cemented our ties with corrupt autocracies in the Middle East (Orwellian sales of F-15 warplanes to the Saudis minus their extras), and the hard-to-achieve simultaneous high unemployment, high inflation, and high interest rates. Go BZiggy GO...away!
