I would recommend the East Ridge of Jack instead. I thought the South face route to be a garbage pile in comparision (we went down that way). But also, I think a spring ascent of the Nohokomeen is great! I guess I am saying that Jack is worth climbing, but the South Face is maybe not the best line.1 point
