plexus Posted December 11, 2002 Posted December 11, 2002 BCO is having a liquidation sale that opens to the public tomorrow after 3 p.m. Sad to see a local shop go down the tubes. Got some stuff for cheap today. Those in Skagit County check it out and give your condolences. Quote
Bronco Posted December 11, 2002 Posted December 11, 2002 is that the place in the old grainery just off of I-5? Â Quote
Uncle_Tricky Posted December 15, 2002 Posted December 15, 2002 Speaking of closing, the Seattle institution Chubby and Tubby is having a big closing sale right now. They are going out of business unless they find a buyer soon (unlikely in the era of big box stores). Not exactly a premier outdoor shop, but damn if they don't got an amazing amount of useful crap packed into their small stores. Actually, I have fond memories of Chubby and Tubby. As a kid, we got out Christmas tree there every year--for 99 cents! Quote
To_The_Top Posted December 15, 2002 Posted December 15, 2002 Hey Uncle T I heard this on the news today. They are selling the ENTIRE store, meaning you can buy the store. I remember those Charlie Brown Christmas trees too. Another Seattle landmark ending. TTT Quote
