OlympicMtnBoy Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 Here she is on Monday, pretty darn snowy. Bergschrund was totally filled in. I'm sure you could get up it, but take some good flotation. It didn't seem to have gotten as warm up there as I would have expected given the weather. That may have changed some this week but I doubt it. brandonmc Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 climbed the buttress a week ago. First pitch was in but the fixed anchor was burried. Make sure to bring a picket or 2, and a few pitons. Otherwise the first pitch is fairly unprotectable. Second pitch up to the waterfall was eazy and consolidated. Third pitch/ waterfall took 16cm screws. easy to the top from there.
