I have a pair of scarpa T1's and want to get a simple crampon for icy sections of trail on ridgelines in Adirondacks. Anyone havea cheap, light crampon they'd recommend for this use?

if you don't need front-points, "micro-spikes" work pretty well, and are far cheaper than any full-on crampon. we've used 'em on water ice to nearly forty-five degrees...

 and  on the Sabers for steeper stuff. If it's only ridge running then microspikes is it.
