COL._Von_Spanker Posted November 29, 2002 Posted November 29, 2002 Josh Rocks! Highlights: Rope stuck in crack below me while rope soloing, Had to set up anchor and rap down to get unstuck. Scored a campsite with Giordie (SP?), it would have been very slim pickin's otherwise. On four seperate climbs there was noticable amounts of blood on the rock from previous climbers. Wear tape gloves (I learned this rather quickly). Climbed some fun stuff. Lead some fun stuff. Had a good ol' time. Times up. Gotta go. Toe Jam is a great lead Quote
thelawgoddess Posted November 29, 2002 Posted November 29, 2002 glad to hear you had a great time ... and made use of my silent partner while you were down there. fun stuff that roped soloing, eh? Quote

plexus Posted November 30, 2002 Posted November 30, 2002 I think there's still some of my O-positive staining some J-Tree granite from my trip there four years ago. My friend just borrowed my J-Tree guidebook. He's heading down in Jan. and I'm seething with jealosy!! Or maybe that's because I've been up since 3:30 a.m. and I don't get off work until 12:30 a.m. I'm getting loopy !! Quote

Peter_Puget Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 Hey Col. I was at Josh too! Well for a day. Maybe you saw some of my blood on Course & Buggy. Did Glory Road and Desert Song before we went over to Headstone Rock. What WA needs is a great 5.6 like Headstone rock - next time I will bring my lunch. PP Quote
