WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

[TR] Mt Daniel - Ski 7/28/2012

Recommended Posts

Trip: Mt Daniel - Ski

Date: 7/28/2012

Trip Report:

For anyone wanting a conditions update to get out skiing...about 2 hours of walking to get to snow. We skied down around noon, snow was slightly past corn but not slush, fairly smooth higher up.

We did a medium day!

Left the car around 630-7, hit the summit around noon and got back to the car around 2 or 3? All I know is burgers and beer at the brick by 4ish! We weren't too worried about time nor moving exceptionally fast.

Oh, that's not so bad. Thanks, may have to make this the August turns spot.

Totally, I'd recommend checking out the lynch glacier and the more north facing slopes, they looked real smooth
