what the fuck, can't figure out how to tie into the new version of this harness - they lost the buckle in favor of a dipshit webbign closure system - do you just tie in through the leg loop and behind the webbing? or is it supposed to be wound through the eyes on either end of the harness too? their website is bullshit...

It's the former.

I climbed with one of their prototypes for years that had the "dipshit webbign closure system" and it was really not a hassle once it became part of the routine. It's a really secure system that pretty much assures you won't fuck it up.

yeah, that's what i've been doing, it just seeeeeems so sketchy compared to the old buckle system

That's funny because I have always thought that buckles seemed so sketchy compared to the old tie-a-knot system.

the webbing on my old buckle-system is much wider than the new setup...course, that old system did occasionally give me fits trying to thread it back through.

The POS webbing was no match for you when you were pissed off and had a pair of vice grips crimped hard on it in yer hand. I would think that with a hammer and chisel, you can force this new system to work just as well.
