I know that the road is impassible at mp 17, I just am hoping to cut down the chance of walking two miles to find out that I have to turn around... Thanks! DPS Posted April 25, 2012 Share Posted April 25, 2012 Not sure if you will find this helpful, but in the many times I have used the log crossing, it has not moved from year to year. DPS Posted April 26, 2012 Share Posted April 26, 2012 If you've never been, from the Eldorado Creek Trailhead parking lot walk back downstream a couple hundred feet along the stream bank and look for the obvious (large) tree. It is pretty tame for a Cascades tree river crossing. Follow the flagging and faint path on the other bank which becomes more distinct.
