JDCH Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 So, I borrowed my buddy's skis for the winter while he was in flatter places. He has Silvretta 404 bindings. A couple weeks ago while skiing up around chair, I broke the heel riser on one of the bindings (see photos below) I took the ski to Second Ascent and the guy there told me I was SOL, and that he couldn't order me a new part. I am not someone who gives back things that were lent to me broken. I need to fix this ASAP. I really appreciate any suggestions. DPS Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Marmot Mountain Works in Bellevue has, or used to have, a box of odd pieces and parts. Its a long shot, but you might try them. Quote
rob Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 You could probably have a metalsmith make you a new piece, but that would probably be more expensive than buying an old pair of 404s on ebay and parting them out. Quote
ColinB Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 I know that The Mountain Shop in Portland has a bucket of 404 parts in their basement. If you call them up, they might have what you're looking for. Quote
