MrGecko Posted January 3, 2011 Share Posted January 3, 2011 Trip: Exit 38 - Here Today Gone Tomorrow Date: 1/2/2011 Trip Report: Hit Exit 38 for a short cold Sunday afternoon. Checked out 'Here Today Gone Tomorrow' - ok but melting and running more than expected so I think you better go early before the grind tomorrow. Went over past the Nevermind Wall and saw this seep I haven't seen form up before. Easy route with bulges and steps for 30m made for a fun day out for my 1st time ice climbing partner. No anchors up top so I left a section of 10mm around a couple of trees. We saw this little "gem" on Sunday and thought about climbing it until we ran into a party putting up lines further down the trail. mountainmatt Posted January 7, 2011 Share Posted January 7, 2011 Here was some of the ice down at the drytool wall further down the trail. The start was thin to say the least, but about 50 feet up, the ice was thicker and started taking screws. We ran into these guys and they put up a nice line for us to play on (thanks!).
