But I reached to Ingraham Flats and had to turn back due to high avalanche danger. I would like to try it again and am thinking about some weekdays in the last week of July. thunder_dan Posted July 19, 2010 Share Posted July 19, 2010 (edited) Me and a climbing buddy are looking to go up this weekend if you're interested in teaming up with us. We're going to do a 1 day straight push from White River up the Emmons to Columbia. We've each climbed Rainier 4 times each and normally have a reliable third partner, but he can't go this weekend. Prefer three on a rope to two. We'd start hiking from White River around 7 pm on Fri Eve and summit at sunrise and then come all the way down by Sat afternoon.
