mountainsloth Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=48.1706649589215&lon=-121.60903930664062&site=sew&smap=1&marine=0&unit=0&lg=en&FcstType=text I am hoping to spend the weekend out there but weather conditions right now don't make it seem like a great idea. I was Wondering if someone in the area could give me an update on how high snow level is and how deep. Maybe even how the road and/or the slabs of o'clock rocks/comb look. I heard snow level is around 1500 feet right now Quote
curtveld Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Haven't been up there recently, but there is a weather station at 3,000' on Gold Hill, which isn't very far away. Quote
mattp Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 A week ago there was heavy snow on the ledges on approaches to anything but 3:00 rock and the freezing level has been even lower since then. This weekend may not be good. Come to Woodland Park tomorrow night and we'll look at some pictures, though. Quote
