j_b Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 All 41 Senate Republicans declared their unanimous opposition to financial reform Regressives are much too busy making up stories about how "big government" is responsible for the crisis they themselves created to worry about reigning in the looters on Wall Street. billcoe Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 .....the strawberries regressives, it was the strawberries regressives..... Quote

Nitrox Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Remind me again, which administration has Goldman-Sachs executives in it? Oh yeah... I'll hold my breath while this goes somewhere. Quote
j_b Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Wouldn't it be faster to ask which of the last few administrations didn't have GS executives in charge of treasury? But of course, while you pretend to be holding your breath, no call for financial reform or convicting the looters coming from you. Like for unsustainable health care costs everything is fine until you blame public employees for this fiasco. Quote
j_b Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 I never tire of stating the obvious when it shows that regressives are corporatist tools. Quote
Nitrox Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 I think you just never tire of running your mouth, no matter how wrong you are. Quote

billcoe Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 I never tire of stating the obvious when it shows that regressives are corporatist tools. Damn, I was just going to say you'd call him a regressive corporate tool and you beat me to it... crap. Too slow...AGAIN! Now here's how "progressives" plan on beating international Jihadism without resorting to being regressive corporate tools. http://www.withallourmight.com/more.html Good thing we have an alternative to the Bush administrations doctrine! In fact, here's a review for you to shorten this process up: "Anyone who questions whether Democrats are capable of taking charge of America's fight against jihadist terror should read this book. It offers a compelling alternative to the one-dimensional Bush doctrine, a progressive vision for recapturing the totality of America's strength and our ideas and ideals, as well as our military might to defend our way of life." -- Senator Joseph Biden, Delaware " Bottom line, with our new 2 dimension policy we toss over money and they will hunt down the bastards for us (insert a few more buzzwords here same same as the last group blah blah)...... http://www.withallourmight.com/WAOM_chapter_summaries.pdf Wait, the non-regressive no-corporate tools did get elected! Why we spending all that money in Afghanistan...unless we are, "progressives" included, all regressive corporate tools! Ah haah! regressive corporate tools! regressive corporate tools! regressive corporate tools! regressive corporate tools! regressive corporate tools! regressive corporate tools! Ah hah! Out with the old "Regressive corporate tools!" and in with the new "regressive progressive corporate tools! " Same same, glad we have the new/old same same jb, thanks for pointing out the differences. Did ya ever look up how much scratch Obama got from the Goldman Sacks folks? How about form others? http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/08/obamas_donor_contributions_sil.html It's a tangled web, but the more you look, the more you'll say "same-same"! Quote
j_b Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Obama being wrong and now part of the problem doesn't make the dismal record of regressives anymore appealing than it was before Obama. What does Jihadism have anything to do with any of it? Conservatives starting with Reagan and Friedman to the Bush administration are responsible for the regressive policies (from deregulation to the race for the bottom labor and environmental cost) that have lead to corporatism. Conservatives today advocating no reform of any kind and being foot soldiers for corporate interests on every single issue underlines their chronic lack of credibility. Quote
