tvashtarkatena
I always bring a generator to base camp. Anyway, if you're in the Seattle area and you have an extra, small, countertop microwave oven you'd like to lose, drop me a PM with the make, model, and $$$. Mine just went bang, then dead. Pete_H
Those small countertop ones are the perfect size for a medium-size cat.

denalidave
Cats love boxes, so if you leave the oven door open.... Put a little cat nip in the dryer and leave the door open. Microwaves are too messy for fluffy. When I was a kid, one of the neighbor kids turned the dryer on and thought it was his shoes going clunk, clunk, clunk in the dryer. Little fluffy did not fair so well. Maybe they should have put it on gentle cycle? I think that is what the manufacturer recommends when drying cats. tvashtarkatena
Today's synthetic cats really do take a beating on the COTTONS setting.
