james_e Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I checked REI in Seattle and Tacoma, and did a google search, and the only place I could find it was from a private seller on Amazon for $65. Does anyone know of any local stores that have it in stock, or when REI will be getting it? Quote
lazyalpinist Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I know the Mountaineer's Bookstore (Magnuson Park) usually has some copies. Quote
DirtyHarry Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Check Feathered Friends, Second Ascent, and Marmot in Bellevue. Quote
DCramer Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I am behind in sending out some orders. Both the Mountaineers and Marmot should have copies in a couple of days. I believe Second Ascent has some in stock. Feathered Friends usually does. Â Â The Washington Climbers Coalition and the Access Fund have been working on the current Lower Town Wall situation. If a purchase agreement can be worked out (and I think one will) 100% of all SVR future sales proceeds will go to the purchase fund. Quote

Too bad more folks don't recognize all that you do for Washington climbing. Â Other folks - don't forget that the Index Clean Up is on May 9th. A good way to meet folks that put in time to maintain great climbing areas. Quote
unklehuck Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Stone Gardens in Ballard has some copies in stock...$20 or so...sheaper if you get a member to buy it for you Quote
james_e Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 Thanks guys. Â That's great about the book proceeds. The community seriously owes you one. Quote
lancegranite Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Well done DC! My copy of SVR is looking a little tattered, I'll take a new one when ready. Quote
Llarian Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Vertical World stocks this as well (at least at the Seattle and Everett branches) Quote
