Z-Man Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 I got into medical school starting this next September somewhat unexpectedly and now need to figure out what to do with myself for the next six months. I need to keep working for at least another month to have enough money to survive until then, but after that I'm potentially completely free. I took off a Summer a couple years ago when I decided to change careers and spent the entire time climbing, which was quite fun, but I had a good friend with me the whole way, made a world of difference, and that likely won't be the case this time. Anybody got any ideas of what I should do this Summer? Quote
Hugh Conway Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 fly to Peru, go climbing. fly to Indonesia, go surfing. fly to Argentina, go skiing. fly to India, go wandering. Airfare is currenly ridiculously cheap to any of those destinations (<$1000 roundtrip, allin) and land costs are <$600 month Quote
Bug Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 JT, Redrocks and Canyonlands now. As it warms up venture into Yosemite valley. Swing up through the Tetons and end up in the Winds at the Circ of Towers. If you still have time, do the Bugaboos. Quote
