westernbackcountryskier Posted March 1, 2002 Posted March 1, 2002 I was wondering if anyone had been up to the baker waterfall at the ski area recently to see how it's held in there after all this nice weather. I'm looking to go up on the 10th and am questioning if it'll still be around. Is it possible to top any of the pitches around there? Thanks Quote
Crackhead Posted March 1, 2002 Posted March 1, 2002 I rode by the icefalls Today. It is cold up there and the ice looked 'in'. Sorry I couldn't slow down to get a better look, but the powder was smacking me in the face... I've seen a number of ice falls that I was smacking my lips to... Word up Quote

Jason_Martin Posted March 1, 2002 Posted March 1, 2002 Ten days is a long time for a Cascade Ice Climb. What is there this weekend may not be by that time. You may want to check again with people on this website the day before you go. Jason Quote
