Frikadeller Posted December 5, 2008 Share Posted December 5, 2008 I took a hike up the supposed "closed" trail a few weeks ago, and the trail is fine for hiking. A few blow downs here and there, and lots of black terrain. The burn area ends just as you reach the Tilly Jane A frame cabin. From there on, the trail is as usual. Unknown what the conditions are as of now higher up the elliot, since I only hiked up the Cooper Spur... I would go with Ivan's advise.
