Skeezix
The DNR was due a more progressive leader. I remember the clearcut they put in up the Cascade River Road back in the 80's. Sutherland was ultimately a tool of big timber companies.
AlpineK
That's good news. I read through the voter pamphlet and read a statement by Sutherland. He talked about preserving habitat and clearcut logging through stream beds. I'm thinking he was a wack job. You can't clearcut through streams and preserve habitat. I'm really happy Goldmark won. Jim
A good thing. Sutherland was not a good steward of our lands.
Skeezix
Sutherland conceded today. What a fucking tool. Good riddance!
