Burgundy Spire - water, single rope raps?

Thanks for answering the questions about water availability. Can the route be rapped with a single rope without leaving gear (besides webbing, rap rings)? Guidebooks suggest doubles, but we'd like to go with just one.

the approach isn't that long so just bring it with you.

Last year at rougnly this time you had to go well out of the way to find it way off to the right at the bench just below the final climb to the notch.

When you get to the campsights at the bench, walk left (north). You will soon find water.

bump - can I single rope rap down the N Face without leaving gear (besides webbing/rings) and without tricky downclimbing? Thanks!

I was there aerlier this year, but I can't remember the rap situation. We had two ropes and used them, but I don't think they were required.
