Hendershot Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Subject: Not news to me Mankind is not responsible for, nor can prevent, climate change. The following web site has much good solid information concerning the "hoax" that is eroding our liberty and destroying our way of life. Time for we citizens to get mad about this, and start making more noise than those getting rich at our expense. Any tax on carbon Dioxide is a tax on breathing!!! http://www.petitionproject.org/index.html Quote

lI1|1! Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 is that edward teller, father of the h-bomb? Teller worked on the atom bomb and led the development of the hydrogen bomb. "He was known for building the really big ones," said one colleague. "We're talking planet bumpers here." Teller also talked President Reagan into investing in the 'Star Wars' missile defense program, but will best be remembered for destroying the career of his one-time boss, Robert Oppenheimer, by testifying during the McCarthy era that Oppenheimer was purposely "slowing things down" in the development of the H-bomb. He will also be remembered for writing the children's book, "A is for Atom, B is for Bomb." Quote
builder206 Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Many people think that Teller is the Dr. Strangelove character but in fact Stanley Kubrick modeled him after Henry Kissinger. Kissinger spent many years in think tanks working on nuclear war strategy. Quote
builder206 Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Also, Teller's PR ego promoted himself as the "father of the H-bomb" but the key central problem was worked out jointly with Stanislaw Ulam. Ulam did the heavy lifting in figuring out the X-ray reflection feature of the syrofoam tamper. Quote
