which guide service?

Could I have some opinions on the different guide services that are offered on Denali climbs. I'm trying to decide who to go with for next season. Thanks.

Several friend have worked for them.

 

American Alpine Institute should not be confused with Alpine Ascents which also run trips. My observations of Alpine Ascents operation is rather industrial.

funny - i would say the opposite of scaredsilly - my experience is alpine ascents is smaller denali groups and more personal. alpine institute more "industrial". although not in a kmfdm, nitzer ebb, skinny puppy kind of way.

I went with Alpine Ascents last May (and other trips with them before that) and would highly recommend them. I think the individual guides are as important as the companies themselves...luckily I always had good guides with them.
