Static Point conditions?

Has anyone been to Static Point recently? Was the gate open? Was the road snow-free?

Drove out there last night and took the dog for a walk. There's about 6-7 feet of snow at Olney Pass. Could be a while unless you want to walk from there.

Static Point 05/26/08

The gate's still closed and looks pretty much like the posted photo. We hiked the road over patches of snow but was mostly dry. There was more snow on the access road and none to speak of on the trail up to the rock.
