NoahT Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Anyone wanna hook a brother up with an I-rock topo? Or point me in the right direction? I've perused the posts I could find, but may have very well missed a link or something. I read there was one at PMS once upon a time, but not sure how old that post was, now. Anyone have one just burning a hole in their hard-drive? Cheers Quote
hemp22 Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 (edited) Olson's site has a Photo, Topo & route list (edit: assuming you're talking about I-rock on hood) Edited April 2, 2008 by hemp22 Quote
NoahT Posted April 2, 2008 Author Posted April 2, 2008 Thanks Hemp! And yes, that's the one I was referring to... Quote

JosephH Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Enlist, military charter to Baghdad International, truck up north to Mosul, and then take a left three or four clicks past Tall 'Afar and you're there. Wear your armor and careful where you step - 'clips' mean something different there. Oh wait, you said I-Rock, sorry... Quote
dmuja Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Wayne, what in general might the climbing conditions be for "East Ridge of S. Chamber" be like right now (a snowy cool April) mixed I assume? Ive heard there are some good routes on 'C'rock as well Quote
Farrgo Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 I was on the E Ridge of the South Chamber earlier this year. It was pretty fun and moderate with a couple interesting steps. There were some really cool features like a full on snow tunnel and some cool chimney features. It was almost entirely rime and snow when I did it and that was January, its only been snowing more since then. Quote
wayne Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Yes it has been almost too cold to form anything other than featherey rime. Who knows though? Steele Cliff could be good . I may have to take a trip down there Quote
BillA Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 I-rock was looking a bit sad as of Wednesday with the warm sunny weather. Not a sign of any ice around march madness... Quote
