kevino
While this isn't nearly as exciting as climbing cool routes on dragontail, I just thought I'd add some pictures from this morning's adventure. Also, path is super packed from road to lake. Took me just under 4 hours to reach the colchuck/dragontail side of the lake. Stuart in early morning sun Early morning glow... Finishing the route. Took around 12ish hours car to car. If anyone wants photos from surrounding peaks regarding conditions, I probably got'em because I killed time by taking pictures while waiting for my friend. escalade
Hey, we're heading up the same route tomorrow, hopefully. How was the climb above the couloir, the whole north buttress section?
Alex
That's definitely a fun day route this time of year, good getting out!
kevino
Rob, didn't make my lab that afternoon, my partner moved a lot slower than we planned because of his diabetes. Its all good though, made up lab yesterday. Escalade, not sure if you'll see this before you climb it, the snow above the couloir was great after the first like 50-100 ft where you are traversing below the rocks.
