catbirdseat Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Sprayer: "Honey, we should go see Charlie Wilson". Wife: "Why, Sweety? Did one of your climbing friends recommend it?" Sprayer: "Yeah, TREETOAD, said it was good". Wife: "Who? Three-Toed? What?" Sprayer: "Just some person on a Internet Bulletin Board". Wife: "You're going to have to do better than that!" Quote
catbirdseat Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 I went to see Charlie Wilson's War and thought it was first rate! I'd give it three and a half stars. The acting was great and the script was clever. Special effects were so-so but that wasn't so important anyway. It's a movie that everyone in my family enjoyed. Don't bring young children though. Seriously. Quote
rmncwrtr Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 I want to see Charlie Wilson's War. If you're looking for a fun family flick for the entire family, check out Enchanted. We saw it on Wednesday. It's a Disney film and very well done. Inside jokes. Homage to various movies. Our kids (girls ages 9 and 4, boy age 7) all liked it. Of course, you'll definitely have an ear worm after a couple of the songs. Quote
denalidave Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 First movie my wife and I have seen in the theater in almost 5 years and we both really liked it, 2 thumbs up. We do need to get out more though. Quote
